A new Brand for the City of Camrose

The stage is set…
Groundwater Communications has successfully completed the new branding for the City of Camrose. After months of development with Camrose Economic Development and various stakeholders the brand was presented to city council. One council member commented , "The new brand is absolutely brilliant in it's simplicity." The brand has a narrow focus with a broad application.

The stakeholder group representing Camrose Tourism, City Centre Camrose, Chamber of Commerce, CRE, members of the business sector, and City of Camrose identified these key strengths:
  • Camrose hosts many events that draw people to the city.
  • Key cultural and recreation facilities and locations
  • Our champion volunteers
  • Strong personality and sense of community

The Brand Promise:
As Alberta’s live performance city, Camrose is a culturally vibrant events community, renowned for being a champion host. The city is a growing regional hub centred on natural beauty… a flourishing community where the stage is set for families and businesses to thrive.

Camrose hosts many events that draw people to the city and is renowned for being an exceptional host.
  • University of Alberta, Augustana and the new Camrose Performing Arts Centre are key strengths of Camrose that contribute to the quality of life in Camrose and with the new brand focus, will bring more families here.

  • City research has identified the desire for a growth of arts and culture in Camrose.
  • Our champion volunteers and strong sense of community
