Groundwater Communications Inc. is a graphic design firm providing creative solutions for 25+ years. We manage projects from start to finish, with the goal of making our clients happy and providing them with tools that work. Darcy Polny

Graphic design, brand development, creative direction, illustration, photography and photo editing
     Darcy is a principal of Groundwater. His background as a creative director includes accounts like KFC, Government of Alberta, Safeway, Travel Alberta and Alberta Treasury Branches.
     His illustrations in his 25+ years in the industry have included limited edition prints for Alberta Motor Association and TELUS and won an Ace Award.
     His education includes the Applied Arts Program Specializing in Visual Communications from Alberta College of Art and Design.
     As a fine artist, Darcy creates vibrant watercolour paintings as well as energetic pastel paintings as testimony to his love of the Canadian landscape. He also paints detailed acrylic canvases of rural life.

     Darcy served as a board member for The Bailey Theatre, as well as the marketing chair and remains an active volunteer.

Lea Polny

Graphic design, brand development, creative concepts, editing, project and print management
     Lea is a principal of Groundwater with a corporate design background  that includes TELUS. 
     Over the years Lea has won several awards for her publication design, including the share offering package for TELUS employees and the TELUS employee newspaper. Her education includes the Applied Arts Program Specializing in Visual Communications from Alberta College of Art and Design. 
     Lea is interested in many forms of art including jewelry design, pottery and photography. 
     Lea served as a board member for The Bailey Theatre and remains an active volunteer.
